Buying a Chart
It's easy to buy charts at The Chart Shop. Here's all you need to know...

What's a PDF?
PDF stands for Portable Document Format and is the standard form for distributing graphically rich documents over the Internet. Unlike web pages, PDF documents preserve all the fonts, formatting, graphics, and colour of the original source document. PDF files are compact in size (and so ideal to send over the Internet) and can be viewed and printed using the free Adobe Acrobat reader - whether you have a Windows PC or an Apple Mac.

Where do I get my free Adobe Acrobat reader?
If you don't already have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your machine, click on the Get Acrobat Reader button to download this free software. Downloading instructions are provided on the Adobe site. Remember that you will need to install Acrobat Reader once it has downloaded.

The Ordering Process

• Step 1: Choose your chart
  Browse through the charts and choose the ones you would like to buy.




• Step 2: Click ADD TO BASKET
  Click the blue "Add to Basket" button to place the charts into your basket. You can remove charts from your basket by pressing the blue "Remove" button on the right hand side.



• Step 3: Click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT or CONTINUE SHOPPING
  When you are ready to buy the charts you have chosen, click the blue "Proceed to Checkout" button, or if you want to choose something else click the "Continue Shopping" button.



• Step 4: Enter your details
  Fill in the form with your details, making sure you provide us with a valid e-mail address. You are now using our secure server, so your personal information is kept safe from others.



• Step 5: Click PROCEED TO CONFIRM AND SEND ORDER
  Click the blue "Proceed to Confirm and Send Order" button. THIS WILL NOT SEND YOUR ORDER. You will be on the confirmation page, where you can check the details that you have given us and change them if you need to.



• Step 6: Click SEND ORDER
  Click the blue "Send Order" button when you have checked your details. Your order will be processed and you will be on a confirmation page with your order number. You can print this page so that you have a copy of your order details and order number; the details will also be sent to you in an email.

How do you recieve your charts?
The Chart Shop will process your order immediately. If your details are correct, the charts you have chosen will be sent to you via e-mail, to the address you provided us with in step 4. The charts may come as several attachments. You will also receive an e-mail confirming the order which you placed with us, detailing the charts you have purchased and the order total.

The PDF you receive will include all the information you need to stitch the chart, including chart, key, required materials etc.

Printing your charts
Once you have downloaded your chart and opened it in Acrobat Reader, we recommend that you print it out from a colour printer. This will enable you to easily see the different colours of backstitch used.

Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch. Payments will be taken in UK Sterling and your bank will convert your payment to your appropriate currency.

Credit card security
All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. Click on the Entrust logo for more information about complete credit card confidence.

Guarantee
Your charts will be emailed to you and should reach you in perfect condition. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, email us at help@the-chart-shop.com with your comments, making sure you quote your order number.

Copyright Laws
These charts are for your personal use only. Although it may be tempting to make copies for your friends or your club, please don’t infringe copyright laws by copying these charts. We are committed to supporting designers and photocopying our charts is illegal. Please respect their hard work in creating you an original chart and we hope that if you enjoy stitching one of our charts, you will recommend that your friends buy their own!
